Employment
The Aspire workforce is a constantly shifting and changing dynamic, so there is always a possibility that there may be work available in one of the businesses. If you yourself are currently homeless or have had a history of homelessness, then you may be eligible to work for Aspire.
How can I work for Aspire?
To be eligible for paid work at Aspire you must:
- Be currently homeless or have had a prior history of homelessness
- Not have used Class A or B drugs for 6 months
- Be reliable, motivated and ready for work
If you believe you are eligible for work, then contact us and we will arrange a date for an interview with our Regional Manager Paul Tipler.
How can Aspire help me?
While working for Aspire all our employees take part in a key skills programme, NVQ training or other appropriate programmes. These help employees build up their skills while working with us. We also help identify areas for future employment and provide evidence of workers skills base to future employers. Support with any problems in the transition into work is normally given by our skilled training and development supervisor. Wherever possible Aspire tries to help employees maintain contact with support workers they have worked with in the past. More specialist support is accessed to deal with specific problems (for example: budgeting, debt management, or a past history of drug or alcohol abuse) if required. Work placement opportunities now exist throughout the year.
